The Warehouse Move: A Logistical Nightmare, But We Made It!

Let’s just say the past two weeks were a whirlwind—a full-on, logistical rollercoaster of moving, packing, unpacking, and a dash of chaos, all while trying to keep our sanity intact. But, We made it! We're finally settling into our new warehouse in the Antelope Valley and getting things organized after a seriously challenging move.

The 800-Pallet Challenge

Moving 800 pallets of goods—two hours away, through California traffic, and across miles of desert—is definitely not for the faint of heart. It was an epic, two-week journey that required the coordination of not one, but two teams. Here’s how we pulled it off:

  • Old Warehouse, Ontario, CA:
Our team spent days packing and prepping everything for transport. Forklifts were in full swing as we loaded everything into 53-foot trailers. It was like playing Tetris—except instead of colorful blocks, we had 800 pallets of stuff.

  • New Warehouse, Antelope Valley:
Once the containers made it to the new location, our receiving team was ready to unload. More forklifts, more moving, and a lot of organizing. We hit a few snags (of course), including late-night deliveries when it was pitch black and even a forklift that got stuck in gravel (because landscaping is still on the to-do list).

But despite the madness, we survived. Everything made it in one piece! Now, we’re just figuring out how to fit all 800 pallets into a warehouse that’s... well, maybe a little smaller than we imagined.

The Double Move: Upholstery Shop & Warehouse

As if moving a warehouse wasn’t enough, we also had our upholstery shop in North Hollywood to move to the new property. Imagine the chaos of moving sewing machines, fabric, foam, padding, equipment—all while trying to manage a second warehouse full of stuff at the same time.

We’ve been juggling all this while still keeping the operation moving, so it’s been a lot of work, but it’s all coming together.

Say Goodbye to Some of Our Favorites: Discontinued Products & Fresh Start

As part of this big move, we’ve also been rethinking our product lineup. We’ve made some tough decisions and are saying goodbye to a few favorites to make room for exciting new products. So if you've had your eye on something, now’s the time to grab it! We’re offering 60% off on select discontinued items as we clear space for a fresh start in the new year.

With all the chaos of the move, we’re also gearing up for new offerings, fresh designs, and big changes. We can’t wait to share what’s coming next!
