In addition to purchasing from our website www.bendgoods.com, our products are available through independent retailers across the United States, Canada, and select international locations.

 

Do you have items in stock and when will items ship?

Most items are kept in stock in our Los Angeles warehouse with varying availability, while most are made to order. Once we receive payment, we can ship in-stock items within 48 hours.

 

Are your products good for outdoor use?

Yes, our products are suitable for outdoor use. For environments with higher exposure to the elements, we recommend opting for our Stainless Steel Products to prevent rust.

 

What is your design process?

We love design and design everything in-house. Our design process involves meticulous planning, creative brainstorming, and rigorous prototyping. We strive to blend art with functionality, ensuring that each piece is both aesthetically pleasing and highly practical. Sustainability is also a core principle in our design philosophy, guiding our material selection and production methods.

What materials do the seat pads come in?

We offer two standard material options: Sunbrella outdoor fabric and vinyl. If you would like to use other materials, we accept COM (Customer's Own Material) orders at an increased price.

 

What is the recommended care for pieces placed outdoors in harsh climates?

If pieces are placed outdoors in inclement weather, we recommend storing products in a moisture-controlled space. If pieces are exposed to moisture, we recommend drying the piece with a dry cloth.

 

Are Bend products BIFMA certified?

Yes, all Bend products are certified by the Business & Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (BIFMA).

 

What’s the Bend Goods weight capacity?

Our seating has a weight capacity of three hundred pounds.

 

Where are your products manufactured?

Our products are manufactured in Asia and the United States, and we continue to look for new supply chains.

 

What are your ethical labor standards?

Our journey with ethical labor standards spans 14 years, closely intertwined with our factory's growth. Starting from humble beginnings as a small family operation making coat hangers, the factory and Bend Goods grew up together, learning skills and building relationships to become a vital part of our production. We're proud of our strong workforce.

From the early days, our factory workers have been more than colleagues; they're friends, embodying kindness, care, and dedication. Key to this journey is the enduring relationships we've built with them.

One memorable story involves our sample makers. Despite language barriers, there's a shared passion for bringing designs to life, showcasing the power of human connection.

Are your products sustainable?

Yes, we prioritize sustainability in our production processes. Bend aims to reuse any materials that we can when producing our pieces, such as excess metal, and designs eco-friendly packaging to maximize the amount of product packaged in one box.

 

Who makes the materials that Bend uses for powder coating?

Bend’s powder coating materials are produced by DuPont Corporation and Tiger Coatings.

 

Are Bend products free of volatile organic chemicals (VOC)?

All Bend products are free of VOCs, certified by DuPont and Tiger corporations.

 

Do you offer a trade program?

Yes! We offer a trade program for professionals in the design and architecture industries. For more details, please inquire at info@bendgoods.com.

 

Do you collect sales tax?

If your order is shipping to California, we are required to collect sales tax.

 

Can you do a warehouse pickup?

Yes, we offer warehouse pickup for local customers. Please contact us to arrange a pickup time and get more details.

What is the warranty for all Bend products?

We provide a 3-year structural warranty for all products regarding the quality of the material used to make our items. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, degradation of finishes from environmental factors, normal wear and tear, and damage due to erroneous/lack of maintenance.

 

Will your items rust? What is your policy on rusting?

Our rusting policy states that any rusting occurring on our Non-Stainless Steel Products is not covered under our warranty. Customers can pay an upgrade fee to replace Non-Stainless Steel Products with Stainless Steel versions, which will last over three years in harsher environments.
