MAISON ET OBJET in REVIEWBehind The Bend

We are finally back at our Los Angeles office after a whirlwind few weeks across the pond in Paris! Upon arrival, it was hard not to let the city’s effervescence go to our heads. Paris is like a gourmet buffet of design inspiration all wrapped up in a beautifully tailored to-go box. But before we could enjoy the town, we had to focus on our first priority: Maison et Objet. If you aren’t familiar with Maison, this trade show draws to the most innovative designers in the game to the Villepinte Exhibition Center twice a year to show their newest and best creations. The mix of designers this year was astounding and pushed us to step our game up for the European market!

The six days of the show were filled with appointments, conversations, and lots of set up time. Trade shows can sometimes be hectic and overwhelming, but Maison was definitely one of the smoothest experiences we have had! The energy at this show was palpable and helped us to work our hardest when introducing Bend to a European audience. In the end, seeing visitor’s positive response to our line made the huge amount of effort worth it!

Maison was the perfect way to begin 2018! This Spring is going to be a thrilling few months for Bend and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve got up our sleeve.
