There are two things that surprise people the most about Bend Goods. The first being, how comfortable our chairs really are. If you have yet to try one out, trust us, we promise, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. The other thing that surprises people is how small our team really is. At Bend, we try and keep everything as streamlined as possible. Whether talking about our design process, manufacturing or the Bend team, we put a lot of thought and effort into making sure everything is as tight and cohesive as it possibly can be. We all wear many hats and pitch in to help each other out when times get tough. As our product lines and brand continue to grow, it’s time for our team to grow too.
Bend is not your typical furniture manufacture though. We don’t work out of an office nor do we have cubicles like most companies. We work out of a house, trading desks for couches and a conference table for a dining room table. The Bend House is treated like an incubator where out of the box and at times even crazy ideas are thought up and executed. In many ways we are much more like a tech company in Silicon Valley, than a furniture design firm in Los Angeles, and we love it. Like a tech company, we work tirelessly coming up with new design concepts and ways to execute and then market them. As a team, we all have passion for the brand as a whole. As individuals, we love the pieces of the Bend puzzle that we are responsible for, and we love bring those pieces together and watching them come to life. For us Bend is a lifestyle not just a product line or a job.
