Modern Coffee Tables: Sculptural Centerpieces for Connection

Wire and metal coffee and side tables

Bend Goods coffee and side tables use the same wire and metal construction as the seating range. Powder coated and available in custom colors. Designed to pair with Bend lounge chairs, sofas and ottomans for a cohesive indoor or outdoor living space. Top materials include stone, glass, terrazzo and wire grid depending on the model.

Coffee tables

The Bend Coffee Table uses a wire base with top options in glass, stone, terrazzo or solid metal. A low-profile living room table that keeps visual weight light while providing a substantial surface. The wire base uses the same geometric construction as the Lucy chair family. Available in black, white and custom powder coat colors.
The Drum Table is a versatile round side and coffee table with a solid wire cylinder base. Works as a side table beside a lounge chair or as a small coffee table in a compact seating arrangement. Available with glass or stone tops in multiple finishes.

Side tables

The Cono Side Table pairs a conical wire base with a natural stone top. A compact side table designed to sit beside a lounge chair or sofa. The wire cone base is a signature Bend form, strong, minimal and visually open. The stone top adds material contrast and presence.

The Switch Table and Stool is a dual-purpose piece that functions as both a side table and an occasional stool. Wire base with a cushioned top, available in black and white. Suited to lounge areas, home offices and hospitality settings where flexible seating is needed.

Choosing a top material

Glass tops keep the visual weight minimal. The wire base remains the focal point and the top surface reads as almost invisible. Best for smaller spaces and rooms where you want the floor to remain visible.

Stone tops add material richness and weight. Best for spaces with natural materials such as wood floors, plaster walls and linen upholstery. The Cono Side Table with stone is the strongest example of this pairing in the Bend range.

Terrazzo tops add pattern and texture without the formality of marble. Works well in commercial hospitality settings and residential spaces with an eclectic or layered aesthetic.

Wire grid tops are the most minimal option, used on the Drum Table. The grid surface is open and tactile, consistent with the wire base construction throughout the range.

Pairing with Bend lounge seating

Every Bend coffee and side table is designed to pair with the lounge and sofa range. The Drum Table pairs naturally with the Peacock Lounge, Loop Lounge and Bunny Lounge Chair. The Coffee Table works at the center of any Bend lounge grouping. The Cono Side Table is sized to sit beside a single lounge chair or at the end of a sofa. All can be ordered in matching or complementary powder coat colors to coordinate with the seating frames.

Indoor and outdoor use

Most Bend coffee and side tables are suitable for covered outdoor use. Powder-coated steel holds up well in sheltered terraces, covered patios and indoor-outdoor spaces. For fully exposed outdoor environments contact Bend about stainless steel base options. Stone and glass tops should be sheltered from prolonged direct rain exposure.

Frequently asked questions

What height are the Bend coffee tables?
Coffee table heights vary by model. Check individual product pages for exact dimensions. Most Bend coffee tables sit at 16 to 18 inches, designed to pair with standard lounge chair and sofa seat heights.

Can I get a custom color?
Base colors are available in any RAL powder coat in matte, satin, gloss or textured finish. Top materials are fixed per model. Contact Bend for custom specifications on larger orders.

Are the stone tops heavy?
Stone tops add significant weight compared to glass or wire tops. The Cono Side Table with stone is a substantial piece. This is intentional as the weight adds stability and presence. Consider weight when specifying for rooftop or elevated terrace installations.

Do side tables need to match the lounge chairs?
Not necessarily. Contrasting finishes work well in many settings. A white lounge chair with a black Drum Table creates a graphic contrast that works in both hospitality and residential contexts. Matching colors are available for projects where cohesion is the priority.
