Standing tall as one of New York’s most celebrated hospitality destinations, The William Vale defines the modern Brooklyn skyline. Our products were curated specifically for the hotel's expansive rooftop and outdoor spaces, where the design objective was to maintain a sense of "visual lightness" against the heavy architectural backdrop of the city.
The Bunny Lounge Chairs were selected to create an "airy vibe" that complements the hotel’s 21st-century aesthetic. In a high-traffic rooftop environment, these chairs provide a beautiful, sophisticated look that doesn't compete with the panoramic views of Manhattan. The white finish provides a crisp, clean "chromatic range" that fits perfectly with the lush greenery and blue-water pool area, making the space feel voluminous and open rather than cluttered.
The Synergy
The synergy between Bend Goods and The William Vale is rooted in a shared "design ambition" and the "California spirit" of blurring the lines between interior and exterior living. The hotel’s architecture is a bold, "visually radical" statement; our wire furniture mirrors that energy through its "fluid structural language".
Bend was an ideal use case for this rooftop project because our furniture is engineered to handle the unique challenges of outdoor hospitality. For a location exposed to high-altitude winds and changing New York seasons, our powder-coatedfinishes offer a durability that "wet paint simply couldn't match". The lattice structure of the Bunny Lounge allows wind to pass right through—a critical functional benefit for a rooftop—ensuring the furniture remains as stable as it is sculptural.

Since its opening, The William Vale has become a "modern design icon" in Williamsburg, winning numerous accolades for its immersive guest experience. The project was brought to life by Studio Munge, a firm renowned for creating luxury environments that sit at the "intersection of sustainability, craftsmanship, and design".
Our chairs have been a permanent fixture of the property’s outdoor legacy for years, proving that "wire, done right," provides a long lifecycle even in the most demanding environments. By integrating Bend Goods into this cultural landmark, The William Vale continues the history of the "mid-century masters" who knew that industrial materials could be elevated into fine art.
