TikTok Los Angeles HQ: A Kinetic Hub for Modern Creators

The Curation
TikTok’s Los Angeles headquarters is a sprawling 120,000-square-foot office designed to be "wildly kinetic"—a physical manifestation of the world's most dynamic social platform. Our products were curated to bring a "vibrant palette" and architectural lightness to this high-energy workspace.
In an office defined by dramatic features—including a 100-foot-long LED selfie wall and a signature hot pink metal staircase—the Betty Chairs and Peacock Blue Lucy Chairs provide a sophisticated, airy seating solution. These pieces fit perfectly into the "SoCal-inspired" interior, where they sit alongside oversized "Hollywood Square" booths and neon ceiling installations that mimic LA’s freeways. The visual transparency of the wire frames ensures the office remains voluminous, allowing the lush views of the Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific Ocean to pass right through the furniture.
The Synergy
The synergy between Bend Goods and TikTok is rooted in a shared "forward-looking optimism." TikTok sits at the intersection of technology and entertainment, much like Bend Goods sits at the intersection of "machine age" manufacturing and fine art.
Bend was an ideal use case for this project because the headquarters is built around the idea of "community, inclusivity, and joy." Our Betty Chairs were specifically selected for their ability to stack—up to four high—making them as functional as they are beautiful in a flexible office environment. The "asymmetric triangular patterns" of the Lucy and Betty lines echo the geometric precision of the Gensler-designed building, while our high-performance powder coating ensures the furniture is "built like a buffalo" to handle the heavy daily traffic of thousands of creative employees and influencers.
The Legacy
Completed in 2020, the TikTok LA office stands as a landmark in the Culver City tech corridor. The project was a collaboration between TikTok’s internal design team and Gensler, the prestigious global architecture firm. The design has since become a blueprint for TikTok's global expansion, influencing their newer offices from Times Square to London.
Our chairs have been an integral part of this "modern design icon" since its grand opening, proving that "wire, done right," provides the durability and style required for a world-class headquarters. By integrating Bend Goods into a space that shares a Courtyard with the creative pulse of Silicon Beach, TikTok continues a legacy of design excellence that ensures the property remains as expressive and durable as the content created within its walls.
