Summer with Bend Goods

Summer starts outside. Here is why our furniture goes everywhere yours does.

There is a version of summer furniture that lives on a back porch and never moves. Faded cushions. Plastic frames. Pieces that were never really designed, just manufactured.

That is not what we make.

Bend Goods was built for the summer that actually happens. The one where you are moving between a tennis court in the morning, a poolside lunch, a basketball court in the afternoon, and somehow ending up in the mountains by the weekend. The pieces that work for that summer are not delicate. They are not precious. They are engineered.

Our powder coated aluminum does not fade in the sun, crack in the heat, or rust in the rain. It holds its color in year five the same way it did on day one. The wire forms are light enough to move without thinking about it and strong enough to go anywhere you take them.

The Fred Chair on the court. Green on clay. It belongs there the same way a well designed tennis racket belongs in your hand. The Fred is our most versatile outdoor lounge chair. Stackable, light, available in 30 colors. It goes anywhere summer takes you.

The Hot Seat at the pool. Poolside deserves better than plastic. The Hot Seat brings the same architectural thinking we apply to every piece to the most overlooked outdoor space in the home. The perforated aluminum dries fast, holds its finish, and looks better next to water than anything else we know of.

The Bench at the court. Bend Goods is not just for private homes. Our pieces are in hotels, restaurants, and public spaces across the country. This bench at the basketball court is exactly what we had in mind when we started the studio. Furniture that is structural enough to live anywhere and considered enough to make the space better for being there.

Somewhere in the mountains. Our pieces have ended up in places we never expected. Glamping sites, mountain retreats, rooftops in cities we have never visited. Powder coated aluminum travels well. It does not need to be babied. It just needs to be somewhere worth sitting.

Summer starts outside. Make sure the furniture keeps up.
