Two hundred colors. That is not a typo and it is not a marketing claim. It is the actual number of RAL powder coat options available on any Bend Goods piece, before we even get to Pantone matching, Sunbrella fabrics, or your own material entirely.
Every Bend Goods piece starts with a form. What happens to that form — the color it wears, the fabric it carries, the finish it holds — is a conversation, not a catalog. Here is what customization actually means at Bend Goods.
Color
RAL is the international standard for powder coat color specification. The RAL system contains over 200 colors across every range: muted naturals, saturated primaries, deep architectural tones, metallic finishes, pastels. If a color exists in the built world, it almost certainly has a RAL number.
When a client brings us a project, the conversation about color is part of the design conversation. The teal specified for the Rita Chairs at Vintage Grocers in Malibu was developed specifically for that terrace, calibrated against the raw wood cladding, the black steel fencing, and the quality of light on the Pacific Coast. It is not a color in our standard catalog. It exists because that project needed it.
For large-scale commercial and hospitality projects of 100 pieces or more, we extend beyond RAL into Pantone matching. If your brand has a Pantone specification for its identity color, your Bend Goods furniture can match it exactly. The color on the chair will be the color on the wall, the color on the menu, the color that your guests associate with your space.

Fabric and Upholstery
The Tube Collection and the Cube Sofa both accept upholstery, and the material options are broader than most people realize when they first look at the website.
Sunbrella is our standard upholstery partner. Their fabric library covers hundreds of options across indoor and outdoor grades, with the same color and texture range you would expect from a textile brand that has supplied architects and hospitality designers for decades. Every Sunbrella fabric is UV-resistant, fade-resistant, and rated for outdoor commercial use.
For clients who need something specific, we offer COM. Customer's Own Material means you source the fabric and we build the piece around it. A hotel that has specified a signature textile for its rooms. A restaurant that wants the chair cushion to match a banquette. A residential client who found a fabric on a trip to Italy and wants it on their sofa. All of that is possible.
COM upholstery is handled in our Los Angeles workshop. The piece is built to the same structural standards as the standard line, with your material applied by the same hands that make everything else we produce.
Custom Pieces
Beyond color and fabric, we produce custom pieces for projects that need something the catalog does not cover.
The metallic wire collection, the custom animal sculptures, the neon-finish baskets — these have all come from client conversations that started with a standard piece and ended somewhere else entirely. Some of those pieces have become catalog items. Most exist only for the project they were made for.
