Every custom project starts with a problem to solve. For this one, it was coats, helmets, and bags, and nowhere good to put them.A ski lodge came to us needing seating that could do double duty: hold up to a busy après-ski crowd, and give guests somewhere to hang their gear without draping it over the back of a chair or piling it on the floor. Our answer was a small but functional detail: a hook, built directly into the back of the chair, sized to hold a coat, a helmet, or a bag.
Wood Meets Metal
The seat is ash wood, finished in a custom color with a durable, wear-resistant finish, not a light stain, built to hold up to daily hospitality use. It's paired with our signature metal frame and back, in the same durable, powder-coated steel our furniture is known for. It's a combination we don't use often, and it changes the feel of the piece entirely, warmer underfoot, but just as built to last.Because the wood and metal are finished independently, the two can be tuned separately to fit the space.
Pair a light ash seat with a deep navy frame for something moody, or go bold with a bright orange or blue frame for a livelier lodge feel.
Built to Stack, Built to Last
Lodge seating needs to move. It gets cleared for events, stacked for storage, and rearranged for the season, so we kept the chair fully stackable. It comes in three heights to cover the whole space: chair height for dining and lounge seating, counter stool height for bar tops and high tables, and bar stool height, including a custom ADA option. Every height shares the same design language, the wood-and-metal seat, the coat hook detail, and the color flexibility, so a single property can be outfitted end to end with one cohesive family of furniture.

Over 200 RAL powder coat colors are available on every frame as standard, and for larger orders we do custom Pantone® matching so a brand color reproduces exactly, not approximately, at every location.
