DWELL ON DESIGN 2015 RECAPBehind The Bend

Our mini spring tradeshow tour has finally come to an end, and we’re happy to say that it was a great success. The final tour stop brought us back home to Los Angeles for the annual west coast edition of the Dwell on Design Show put on by Dwell Magazine. Dwell on Design is the biggest show in Southern California, and a staple for us each year. As expected, the 2015 edition did not disappoint.

Staying true to last year, we chose to stay in the outdoor area of the show. For those who have never been, each year Dwell has a landscape architecture firm called Shades of Green come in and make an indoor park in the middle of the show. There are prefab homes brought in and the atmosphere is always a lot of fun. This year David Bromstad, from HGTV fame, also had his hand in the design and brought in two large tipis that he outfitted as lounges. It was truly “clamping” like you have never seen before.

Our booth was equally as glam. With a backdrop of steal cages and concrete pavers provided by Shades of Green, our brightly colored goods stood out like they were glowing in the dark. Our big debut at this show was our Drum Table in a brand new gold finish, available at the end of July. All the goods though got great reaction and a lot of praise from a great crowd of attendees. All in all Dwell on Design was a great success and most importantly a lot of fun!
