BENDING THE HOUSE FOR FALL Behind The Bend
by Eric Stauble·
After a pretty sweltering summer here in Los Angeles, we are all pretty excited for fall here at Bend. So excited in fact that we are going to give the Bend House a little refresh. Like you, we are always looking for style and design inspirations, and one of our first stops is typically Elle Decor. We found a great article called 11 Tastemaker-Approved Trends To Get Ready For Fall, and our favorites are below. Head over to Elle Decor here for the rest of the trends to get your space fall ready.
MIXED METALS "I can't get enough of mixed metals and materials this fall! Gleaming or distressed golds, silvers and coppers, paired with wood, steel, matte black or glass on one piece of... anything!"
-Elaine Griffin, Interior Designer
THE RETURN OF MODERNISM "What I am most excited about is the return of modernism layered in luxurious color. Bold, fresh furniture profiles rendered in pure hues."
-Jon Call, Interior Designer
GEOMETRICS MIXED WITH ORGANICS "Right now, I am loving bold geometric shapes mixed with organic materials. From oversized chevron to diamond shapes and everything in between, geometric patterns are popping up everywhere. Combining the strength of these patterns with well-worn materials like reclaimed wood, aged metals and textural fabrics is something that has really inspired me this season."
-Jeff Andrews, Interior Designer
ELECTRIC HUES "One item I am looking forward to exploring this fall is the surprise pop of color. There's a fearlessness to introducing an electric hue and watching it bring a room to life! Like 'Cracker Jacks' life is better with a surprise inside"
-Kirk Nix, Interior Designer
