Bend Goods is an innovative, fast growing furniture and product design company based in Los Angeles. We are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial sales rep to help build our sales network. We are looking for someone with relevant sales experience, has a passion for our brand and a passion for selling.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with the A&D community

• Follow up and close deals with clients

• Help develop and maintain sales channel strategy

• Explore national account opportunities

• Train internal sales team and rep network

• Frequent Travel Required

Required Skills and Experience:

• Successful sales record with the ability to show steady sales growth

• Must have a strong work ethic and be results oriented – Integrity, honesty, respectful, thoughtful

• Understand nuances of different customer types and tailor messaging for these different customers

• Great presentation skills

• Strong analytical, negotiating, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation:

• Based on past sales performance. Base + Commission

 

 

SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

At Bend we are looking for a driven Social Media Specialist to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users. The goal is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap.

Must have a passion for design and a strong interest in what we do here at Bend. You should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels. You are responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand and “soft selling” the product by providing support to current and prospective customers.

Responsibilities:

• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification

• Build meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action

• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content

• Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community

• Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules

• Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information

Requirements:

• Passion for all types of Design: Interior design, product design, graphic design

• Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist

• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills

• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge

• Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, SEM and SEO

• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels

• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multi-tasking and organizational ability

Required education:

• Bachelor's

 

 

PR & MARKETING INTERN

PR and Marketing plays a critical role in supporting the business. From catalogs and in-store messaging to global PR events, we are responsible for increasing awareness of the brand, expanding customer reach and growing sales. The PR and Marketing intern will gain exposure and experience in all areas of marketing, but will be specifically tasked to support media relations and retail activity.

Essential Functions:

• Work with our PR Team

• Generate press recaps

• Sample tracking

• Event execution

• Creative development of marketing campaigns

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively

• Highly reliable

• Strong multi-tasking skills

 

 

SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE

Responsibilities:

• Maintain relationships with existing customers and retail partners

-Make sure they are always well informed about new products and/or sales promotions that we are launching

-Be available to them and ready to help with anything they need to be more successful with us

• Work to locate new markets and retailers in areas that we are not yet represented

• Brainstorm creative ways to help gain exposure for the brand and help boost sales in out of the box ways

• Process all incoming orders

-Enter into Quick Books

-Create Purchase Orders and Invoices for all orders

• Work hand in hand with our warehouse and make sure that all orders are being processed and shipped in a timely manner

• Enter all new vendors into our database

• Create sales orders with pricing info and shipping quotes

• Manage warehouse inventory

• Collect payments from customers for large orders

• Occasionally travel to warehouse, product inspection for quality
